During Design Week in Milan, Cappellini presents Cappellini Point, next-generation exhibition space located at Bastioni di Porta Nuova 9, joining the store on Via Santa Cecilia to narrate a new cultural approach to design, reformulating the commercial dynamics through which the company intends to consolidate its relations with industry players.
In a setting characterized by a dynamic architectural structure that reproduces the atmosphere of a private loft, the vision of living by Cappellini takes form. The projects are organized in two main volumes, inviting the visitor to interact with the products, to enjoy a moment of relaxation, in informal contact with the company and other visitors in the space.
A creative avant-garde laboratory that takes shape amidst design objects and innovative technologies, works of art and color elements that characterize the world of Cappellini, highlighted by the fabrics and the painted architectural details.
A visual and cultural journey that brings together the creative input of designers like Jasper Morrison, Nendo, Fabio Novembre, Dimore Studio, as well as the Polish designer Mac Stopa and the Swedish designer Johan Lindstèn, in a continuous interplay of industrial design and new interpretations of traditional manufacturing, including elements borrowed from digital art and aesthetic details inspired by the natural elements.
New products presented at the Salone del Mobile are paired with iconic products of the company, underscoring a cultural heritage in the creative language. Cappellini Point offers insights on compositional systems that thanks to their modular characteristics can be reconfigured in a spirit of design freedom, from Drum seat to the historic Tube Chair by Joe Colombo, to Flexi storage cabinets.
