In a moment in which digital reality seems to be getting the upper hand, Porro recoups the emotion of tactile experience and narrates, with a light, delicate installation, its selection of finishes for systems and collections.
At the center of the space materials from the range rest on Fractal tables, for a total of 8 linear meters of finishes: 16 woods, 24 matte and glossy lacquers, 24 back-painted glass finishes, 4 crystals, 4 metals, 5 finishes for the inside of wardrobes, 5 solid woods for chairs, 2 high-resistance lacquers become ductile geometric forms, to assemble at will in an abstract landscape, experimenting with new combinations.
With the effect of a shower of colors in the air, some of the 93 fabrics, 32 leathers and 8 eco-leathers used to cover the brand’s soft products hang from the ceiling like strips of fabric with Japanese overtones, in a chromatic range from white to beige, brown to gray, exploding into green, blue, violet and red.
The itinerary culminates in the wardrobe area, the quintessence of Porro’s tailor-made prowess. Precious and welcoming, a true refuge in which to relax amidst the warmth of wood and the brightness of the paint finishes, the Porro wardrobe has been transformed over time, from a technical compartment to an emotional place to which to devote larger and larger areas of the home.
