The Italian furnishings brand opens three new exclusive stores in Hong Kong, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. This year Calligaris is celebrating its 90th anniversary with events in Italy and abroad to implement the new brand and retail strategy, aimed at reinforcing the trademark on a worldwide scale. The new Hong Kong store is located in the Causeway Bay area, one of Asia’s best-known shopping districts. The interior is on a single level, organized in keeping with the display concept of the Italian brand, to enhance the wide range of products. The store in Singapore is inside the Suntec City shopping and convention facility, in the center of the city. It is easily recognized thanks to the distinctive logo, a white woodpecker on a red background. The space inside presents the latest new products, organized in familiar, lively and functional settings. The new store in Kuala Lumpur, slated to open in early December, is also in a shopping center, the Pavilion, near the monorail station of Bukit Bintang. The Calligaris Store is on the sixth floor of the facility opened in 2007, which contains over 450 shops on seven levels. The Calligaris stores are positioned in strategic high-traffic zones in major cities. They offer elegant, modern, refined spaces, to illustrate the philosophy of Italian Smart Design: design products that are not just beautiful and very well made, but also versatile, ergonomic, conceived to simplify everyday life. These new openings mark an important step for the recognition of this brand abroad, since exports account for 65% of the Group’s total sales.
