The Italian textile company opens its first American monobrand showroom

After over 20 years of commercial distribution through partner showrooms in the United States, Dedar opens an exclusive location as part of its policy of strategic growth in North America, including a recently created affiliate for sales and customer service with headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut.

The showroom is located on the 10th floor of the Decoration and Design Building (D&D), a reference point for interior design and architecture firms in Manhattan.

The space of 240 square meters has been designed by Michele Bönan.

The inspiration for this new Dedar facility comes from the architecture of American homes built in the 1960s. The creative idea for this project is that of a loft, a theatrical space where shadows and light alternate to enhance the true protagonists of the displays: the fabrics.

The furnishings also link back to the 1960s, with a mixture of American and Scandinavian design. Dark wood creates an inviting atmosphere.

The space contains a range of over 3000 fabrics and wallpapers, for residential use and contract projects.
