The new London boutique is based on the past experience of Frette in the creation of innovative concepts that blend contemporary design and original Art Deco details.
For the interiors, Emiliano Salci and Britt Moran of Dimorestudio were inspired by the Italian architect Carlo Scarpa and his love of materials, as well as Charlotte Perriand, the French designer known for her approach to functionalism.
The store, with an area of 400 square meters on two levels, presents the entire range of Frette offerings.
The entrance is like that of a home. The space is not immediately revealed, but draws customers in towards the display zones and the small lounge at the back.
The staircase is the focal point, in black metal and white opaline glass. The basement level contains the bespoke area where customers and designers can create their own custom collections.
Natural lighting enhances tones of green, blue and gray paint of the custom fixtures, with details in brushed brass and steel.
Marquina and Carrara marble panels, luxurious satin armchairs and floors in black resin complete the decor.
