The millionth
Land Rover Discovery has left the Jaguar Land Rover plant of Solihull near Birmingham, UK. To celebrate this important milestone and to demonstrate the peerless versatility of the Discovery, the millionth unit will set off on a Journey of Discovery, from Birmingham to China, one of the fastest growing Land Rover markets. The expedition will permit Land Rover to launch its most ambitious project: to collect one million pounds for the brand’s humanitarian partner, the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC). The sum will be used for an indispensable water purification program in Uganda.
