In Riccione, a historic symbol of the summer nights of the Riviera Romagnola has been ‘revolutionized’ by Antonio Scarponi of the studio Conceptual Devices of Zurich. This is a functional transformation to create a hotel and restaurant, and a technical-aesthetic makeover, with an architectural focus based on the image of cruise ships, done with a facade made with the DuPont Corian techno-surface. The is the largest facade in Italy made with this material, in the worldwide avant-garde for looks and technological performance in the field of architecture and design. The work was installed by the Udine-based firm Altha.
