Republic of Fritz Hansen has opened its first showroom in Copenhagen, in a historical building that once contained the postal service, at Valkendorfsgade 4.
The iconic Egg and Swan chairs, and Series 7, designed in the 1950s by Arne Jacobsen, coexist in the large space of 270 m2 with sofas, chaises longues and complements by Poul Kjærholm, and the new collections by Jaime Hayón, as well as those of the Danish designers Cecilie Manz and Kasper Salto.
The accessories are part of the new Objects collection of vases, candlesticks, mirrors, trays and cushions, created by international designers.
