The Inda company has been officially acquired by Gruppo Samo Industries, the holding that controls Samo Spa and Siro srl. The merger of Inda and Samo gives rise to an integrated bath sector group with expected sales of about 100 million euros per year, capable of offering a wide range of products, from shower stalls (a segment in which Samo is an Italian leader) to accessories (where Inda stands out on a European level) to furniture. The strong roots in the Italian market of Samo meet with the capillary distribution of Inda in Europe, on markets like France, Switzerland, Belgium and Germany. The two brands will keep their identity and sales networks. In terms of production, the operation calls for concentration of much of the manufacture of shower stalls at Bonavigo (VR), at the Samo plant, and rationalization of other production sites.
