Fabio Ferrillo, founder of the Milan-based architecture firm OFF Arch, is the protagonist of a signature restyling project: the transformation of a historic perfume shop into an innovative, experiential concept store presenting cosmetics, fragrances, accessories and clothing in a refined, harmonious setting.

This is the idea behind the new Profumerie Formentini in Latisana, in the appealing region of Lower Friuli: a historic shop run by a family for over 50 years updates its approach with an eye on the future, thanks to the complete refurbishing of the space, disrupting the clichés of traditional cosmetics stores.

The project has an area of 200 square meters, with minimal design that applies various tones of gray and white, warmed up by wooden furnishings and the glow of bronze details. The need for a versatile layout has led to the creation of modular displays made to measure, alternating with historic design pieces by the likes of Finn Juhl, Osvaldo Borsani and Gino Sarfatti.
