Versace opens a new boutique in Madrid based on the concept designed by Donatella Versace in collaboration with the British architect Jamie Fobert.

The store has an area of 420 square meters, combining opulence and Italian architectural tradition with the dynamism and energy Versace today. Marble mosaics, brass and perspex create a luxurious and contemporary setting in which to show the ready-to-wear collections of Versace for women, men and accessories.

A meeting place between past and future, the boutique features mosaic floors inspired by the Byzantine churches of the 9th century, in contrast with the perspex walls and shelves that seem to hover above it. The circular path of the mosaic floors reflects the shape of the walls. Brass is the protagonist of the metal parts and confirms the atmosphere of maximum luxury in the boutique.

The new Versace concept is a tribute to the great cultural heritage of Italy. With this project, Jamie Fobert has created a space where the new spirit of  Versace is born. The boutique is like a continuous dialogue between the past and the future, between Versace and its customers.
