At the Brera Botanical Garden, an installation-game invites the public to explore the theme of the changes to urban mobility to achieve sustainability, putting people at the center and stimulating a reflection on the relation with the space in which we live and move

Conceived by Italo Rota and CRA-Carlo Ratti Associati with Eni to stage the approach to the evolution of urban mobility and represent the vision of Eni Sustainable Mobility, the installation Walk the Talk - Energia in movimento at the Brera Botanical Garden transforms one of the most fascinating green spaces in Milan into a surprising living game board covering an area of 3500 square meters.

Hundreds of illustrated boxes painted bright colors (some 400 in all), including multimedia boxes, trace a path winding between trees and plants, creating luminescent and sound effects that modify the space during the hours of the day.

The game tiles, each corresponding to a single step, store energy during the day and deliver it in the evening producing striking light displays.

Participants will be able to choose the paths to follow and interactively discover everyday actions and concrete solutions for increasingly sustainable mobility.

Developed together with game designer collective Blob Factory Gaming Studio, the project invites the public to take part in a conversation about the future of our cities, addressing issues such as changes to mobility, vehicle sharing services and the production of biofuels from renewable raw materials.
