Atina is an ancient town from the pre-Roman era in the province of Frosinone, Valle di Comino. In this context stands a private villa on two levels with a large garden, a swimming pool and a tennis court.
The owners wanted to create a poolside lounge, a true relaxation area with an outdoor kitchen, for intensive enjoyment of outdoor living.
The architectural context suggested the creation of minimal elements of low impact, establishing a dialogue with the surroundings. A partition has been created to contain a small sink and a refrigerator, to improve livability of the outdoor space while playing a structural role, since a pergola can be partially supported by the partition, as well as by an overhanging L-shaped beam.
