Resilient SKIN-code final exhibition 18th October 2019, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. c/o IDEAS BIT FACTORY, Via Enrico Cosenz 44/4, Milan

The AA Visiting Schools are full-time two-week courses, which the Architectural Association of London offers around the world to undergraduates, graduates, architects and creatives who wish to deepen their knowledge, practices and skills in architecture, in a collaborative and global way.

The Visiting School which takes place in Milan from 7th to 18th October, in collaboration with the School of Design of the Politecnico di Milano, is titled Resilient SKIN-code and aims to explore new relationships and links between different disciplines, specifically between Architecture and Fashion design.

The participants, who are exposed to craft techniques and digital technologies, are invited to work collaboratively following sustainable criteria, hybridizing craftsmanship and technology, to build a prototype on a 1: 1 scale which will lie somewhere between a shelter and a garment.

The results will be open to the public on Friday 18th October from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Ideas Bit Factory.
