During the Christmas party on 17 December, the prize ceremony was held for the in-house competition Aiming High, organized by Progetto CMR in Milan

On Tuesday 17 December, in the new Progetto CMR headquarters in Milan at Via Russoli 6, a prize ceremony was held for the ideas competition for a new tower, Aiming High. The call for ideas was announced in July 2018, with the aim of gather projects in 2019, for the 25th birthday of Progetto CMR.

The goal was to produce a concept for an ideal tower, conveying the vision of an imaginary building. All the works were presented with drawings and models. The project could refer to any form, and any material.

The base, equal for all the models, was preset by Progetto CMR, while there were no limits on the materials to be utilized. The competition was aimed at architects, engineers, technicians and all personnel, allowing them to give free rein to their creativity and fantasy.

The models were displayed in the new headquarters, initially without the names of their makers, and received votes from all the staff of Progetto CMR, and from a jury composed of: Gilda Bojardi (editor of Interni Magazine), Matteo Cabassi (CEO of Brioschi Sviluppo Immobiliare), Valeria Falcone (Italy Country Head of Barings), Antonello Fusetti (dean of the Scuola Politecnica di Design), Silvia Maria Rovere (CEO of Morgan Stanley), Elena Sommaruga (Real Estate and Logistics division, Intesa San Paolo).

The winner of the prize of 3000 euros was the VVPR Tower. Second place went to Spoon Tower. Third place was assigned to the Babylon Market tower.

The models are on view at the Progetto CMR headquarters, Via Russoli 6, Milan, by appointment only. For more info: b.acquati@progettocmr.com
