For the claddings in the new ferry terminal area in Halifax, Canada, Caesar has supplied custom ceramic materials

In Halifax, capital of Nova Scotia in eastern Canada, the ferry terminal area has been renovated to offer more efficient service. The project included the participation of Caesar to supply ceramic materials for the floors of the pedestrian passage of Alderney Gate.

The Alderney Gate Pedway is an area that did not respond to the present needs of users. Thanks to this project, today it has become a true hub to welcome people and facilitate the connection with adjacent facilities.

The new space has been reorganized in keeping with the canons of modern design, leading to remarkable improvement, including better climate control and the creation of three lounge areas with accessible seating.

The upgrade has also involved the internal finishes, where Caesar has contributed with the Life and Tecnolito series. The natural look of wood and the atmosphere of relaxing wellbeing are combined with the functional quality of the ceramics of the Life series, which interprets wood in an original way in pale Nordic tones, and in the typical format of 20x120 cm. This product is joined in contrast with the marble-effect porcelain stoneware of Tecnolito, deployed in the 30x60 cm format, with an intense dark Charcoal color.
