The city is a community, by building the city, architecture strengthens the community. Bottom Up!, the Turin architecture festival, promoted by the Foundation for architecture / Turin and by OAT - Order of Architects of Turin, called the city, the citizens, the community to support urban regeneration projects from below, created and designed in Turin and Milan, launching a crowdfunding platform to boost the urban and community regeneration that the projects have activated.

Launched in September at the Sandretto Re Rebaudengo Foundation, crowdfunding ended on November 3 with an event at Eataly Lingotto, Turin. 48 proposals for interventions were received in the Turin area by associations, informal groups, companies, committees, training bodies, clubs. Applications concern squares, traffic areas (roundabouts, carriageways, pedestrian areas), arcades, urban gardens, schools, courtyards, parks, agricultural areas, woods, public and private gardens, craft buildings, public buildings, vacant shops .
