To celebrate 50 years of activity, Fiam Italia puts into production a precious limited edition of 50 Onda Poufs. The proceeds will go to support the Marche region

Fiam Italia turns 50 this year and as many years of design history imprinted in the suggestive magic of glass.

A family business, innovative and with a marked creativity that finds its entrepreneurial origin in the famous reference of the Onda Pouf, is still recognized today as a symbol of elegance, simplicity and cutting-edge technology.

Born and created by the illumination of Vittorio Livi, it is a service object designed to sit in front of the glass bending furnaces, today's icon of Made in Italy, is the first to allow man to sit on glass.

An inspiration for its creator who in 1973 decided to create an entire collection of curved glass furnishing accessories.

It is precisely with this iconic piece of furniture that the company from the Marches intends to celebrate its history, and also its land of origin.

An icon that comes from the past but that wants to be a beacon for the future of the company and of the technique linked to high temperature glass processing.

This year, on the occasion of the company's 50th birthday, Onda Pouf is back in the collection with a limited gilded re-edition of 50 pieces, branded with an indelible pure gold logo, numbered and personally signed by the its author Vittorio Livi.

50 unique pieces to celebrate the 50th anniversary and help support the reconstruction project of the nursery school of Macerata in the popular district of Sforzacosta, one of the areas devastated by the earthquake of Central Italy in 2016.

An initiative supported and promoted with the help and dedication of Andrea Bocelli Foundation and Fondazione Mediolanum and further fueled by a charity dinner in the splendid setting of Villa Miralfiore, in Pesaro.

Fundraising is a tangible and shared sign of the values and attention of Fiam and its partners towards a territory that is still wounded and in need of help.

In fact, the Marche-based company has always supported and valued the local communities, which have often gone through difficult times. Hence the desire to rebuild a kindergarten, an environment dedicated to children aged 0 to 6 and their future, a space for study, educational training and creative development.

A major urban redevelopment project conceived by the Andrea Bocelli Foundation through the creation of an educational hub.

Furthermore, a limited edition of 100 exclusive 1:5 scale miniatures of Mini Onda Pouf will also be available, which can also be purchased at the Salone del Mobile stand, to contribute and support the construction of the Educational Hub of the Sforzacosta district of Macerata, destined to become a nerve center and center for the regeneration of the social and urban fabric, offering new learning, meeting and sharing opportunities for all students and families.
