RE-generate and RE-invent: in a moment in which everything around us is changing, this prefix becomes fundamental to imagine and conceive of a new idea of the future. We are at a new starting point, where it is necessary to “RE-design ideas.” Audi, for Milan Design City 2020, organizes a talk with institutions and outstanding personalities of various sectors, to trigger new reflections on timely concepts at the center of the debate, such as mobility, design and technological innovation; an attempt to put the sustainable ecosystem and our everyday life, now and in the future, into focus.

Fabrizio Longo, Audi Italia Brand Director

With a degree in Political Science from LUISS in Rome, he has had a long career in the automotive sector. Since 1987 Longo has held various positions inside Fiat Auto S.p.A., becoming Vice-President for European Sales. In 2005 he became Worldwide Sales Director at Aprilia. In 2006 he was named Sales Director of Toyota Italia, and two years later he became Sales Director of BMW Italia (2009-2011). He then moved to Hyundai Motor Company Italy as General Director. Since 1 February 2013, Longo is the Brand Director of Audi Italia.

Chiara Gamberale, writer and television host

Born in Rome in 1977, writer and radio and television personality. After taking a degree at DAMS in Bologna, she wrote her first novel in 1999, titled "Una vita sottile". She began to work in television in 2002, hosting the programs "Duende" on Seimilano (a Lombard TV station) and – for Rai Radio 2 - "Io, Chiara e l'Oscuro". She has also been the writer of the program "Quarto Piano Scala a Destra" (Rai Tre). She works with various magazines, including Vanity Fair, Io Donna, Donna Moderna, and the newspaper La Stampa. In 1996 she won the Grinzane Cavour literary prize; in 2008 she reached the finalist phase of the Premio Campiello with the took “La Zona Cieca”; her book “Passione Sinistra” was the source of inspiration for a character in the film of the same title directed by Marco Ponti; Lidia Frezzani, the protagonist of her novel "La Zona Rossa", is her literary alter ego. Her books have been translated into 16 languages.

Michele De Lucchi, architect and founder of AMDL Circle - Ph. Giovanni Gastel

An architect, he has been one of the protagonists of avant-garde currents in architecture and design since the 1970s. He has designed objects for the most famous Italian and European brands. He has completed architectural projects in Italy and the world, ranging from industrial buildings to cultural centers. He is the founder and a part of AMDL CIRCLE, an interdisciplinary circle of innovative designers. Since 2018 the research of AMDL CIRCLE has concentrated on the Earth Stations project, a new type of building that uses humanistic and technological knowledge to improve human relations.

Stefano Boeri, architect - Ph. Laila Pozzo

An architect and urbanist, Stefano Boeri is a professor at Politecnico di Milano. The studio Stefano Boeri Architetti – with offices in Milan, Shanghai and Tirana – ranges from production of urban visions to the design of works of architecture and open spaces, with a constant focus on the geopolitical and environmental implications of urban phenomena. The focus on the relationship between cities and nature led to the construction, in 2014, of the Bosco Verticale in Milan, winner of various international prizes.
