September 30, 2020 - 5pm
Meeting Point Istituto Marangoni Via Cerva 24 Milano

Large and small commissions, but very personalized; what we refer to in Italy as “Contract” has become an important line of business for many companies, working all over the world and with the most important names in design. We will talk with the guests of the session about the evolution of the sector and the new requirements of international clients, as well as changes in the area of services. In the contract sector “managing the project” means understanding the needs of investors, developing the design, choosing the right suppliers in relation to processes of workmanship, satisfying economic requirements, supervising worksites, logistics and post-sale services. The project remains the central focus: every single detail has to be precisely defined to make the specifications and business plans into virtuous instruments of control over the complexity of processes.
