40 models walked among the installations of Interni Human Spaces, wearing garments designed by the most important Taiwanese fashion designers

Installation braIN Taiwan was opened yesterday afternoon, made by the Italian-Taiwanese artistic collective The Meet Lab. A massive and at the same time light temporary architecture, a pathway that reveals, through numbers, innovative materials, objects and art, the human space where the present and future development of Taiwanese textile manufacturing.

Sue Wang, deputy mayor of the city of Tainan, and Patina Lin, top model and ambassador of the Tainan textile district, fashion designers and Taiwanese authorities were present at the event.

The opening started with a dynamic fashion show that started in the Aula Magna moved through the installations of Università degli Studi to the Richini Portico, and drew attention on the need to protect the environment, specifically the seas.

Eight design areas show works made with fabrics produced by various Taiwanese companies in the forefront of research and innovation. Among them, graphene based fabrics; hydrating fabrics based on collagen taken from fish processing waste; the AirySektor ultralight membrane that can be applied to any sort of manmade or natural fibers; and reflecting products lit by a flashlight.
