Museo della Scienza e della Tecnologia di Milano Via San Vittore 21 - Milan 21/24 November 2019

The playing field is just right: Focus Live, the festival of scientific information of the magazine published by Mondadori, in a four-day focus on the future of humankind.

Environment, sustainability and innovation are the themes of the events hosted in the aeronaval pavilion of the Museum of Science and Technology of Milan. Near the central stage, visitors can see the globes of Weplanet, the project of Gruppo Mondadori and Mediamond, with the support of the City of Milan and the Lombardy Region.

“Focus Live is a festival of knowledge,” says Raffaele Leone, editor of Focus. “The magazine becomes a flying carpet, landing on the territory. This year we are also taking part in Weplanet, the outdoor event slated for April-June 2020, which will feature 100 globes created by artists and designers to raise public awareness of environmental themes.”

At Focus Live the two ecosustainable installations, by Giulio Cappellini and Fabio Pietrantonio, attract curious viewers of all ages. This is the first foray outside the workshop where a team of designers are working on more globes to interpret the issues of pollution, climate change and innovation.
