go to Holland. The youngest design district in Milan becomes the first to take part in a foreign event: Dutch Design Week in Eindhoven, from 19 to 27 October 2019.
Eindhoven hosts the exhibition curated by Blank, the creative agency that organized the event, under the title Unlimited Design - Dutch Edition. Guests and visitors, along the lines of what happened at the latest FuoriSalone, are accompanied along a path ranging from innovation to sustainability, crafts to innovative materials. The aim is to explore design in all its forms, experimentation and different types of knowledge, getting beyond the boundaries of products and functions.
Dutch Design Week is the biggest design event in northern Europe, with over 355,000 visitors and 2600 designers on hand from around the world. The event offers a fine calendar of appointments, including exhibitions, conferences, prize ceremonies, debates and more.
During the nine days of the program the protagonist is design in all its forms and disciplines, with a particular accent on nurturing young talent. “If not now, then when?” is the theme of the 2019 edition.
