A prize for an original thematic film project, on design culture and architecture

MiCue Milano Design, for the second edition of the Milano Design Film Festival (MDFF), has organized a thematic prize for original film projects, to support creativity and raise collective awareness of the world of design and architecture. The award has been made possible thanks to the support of 3D Produzioni, Alessi and SAE Institute Milano. Projects, presented as storyboards, will be selected for the production of a film with a maximum length of 10 minutes. The contest is entitled “Milan. Places where we eat” and covers design, architecture and nutritional habits. All set in a single city: Milan, the upcoming location of EXPO 2015. The places chosen for the consumption of food range from public to private, narrating our ways of behaving at the table and our relationship with food. The competition is aimed at directors, videomakers, set designers and all those Italian and foreign talents who want to create audiovisual works. The awards will be assigned during MDFF 2014, following a live presentation by the authors of the 10 finalist projects. Registration is open until 30 June 2014. The registration form and guidelines can be seen and downloaded until 30 June at the websites: milanodesignfilmfestival.com3dvideo.it – alessi.itmilano.sae.eduspaziocinema.info
