Design returns to the city after the stop due to the Covid emergency. Milano Design City, the appointment wanted by the Municipality of Milan, starts today until 10 October, born from the collaboration with the most important players in the world of design and creativity and with Gilda Bojardi, director of Interni.

An unmissable opportunity to promote the culture of design and relaunch the vocation of Milan as a reference city for international design thanks to a rich calendar of over 350 digital and physical initiatives : presentations, discussions, workshops, installations and meetings with the most relevant names in the world of industrial design and furniture.

66 protagonists will animate the Milan Design City calendar including: Triennale Milano, INTERNI with its Designer's Week, ADI (Association for Industrial Design), Polidesign, Politecnico di Milano, Order of Architects of the Province of Milan, Rossana Orlandi , SuperStudio Group, Elle Decor, AD, in addition to the design districts of via Durini, Brera, 5 vie, Santa Sofia and Molino delle Armi and brands such as Cappellini, Boffi, De Padova, Giorgetti, Cassina, Molteni, Minotti, Poltrona Frau, just to name a few.

Among the issues addressed and analyzed by Milano Design City, particular attention will be paid to the culture of design and design processes alongside the increasingly relevant themes of the circular economy, reuse and sustainability, investigating how these are guiding the choices of design and planning. international. Space also for reflections on new ways of understanding urban spaces and the mobility of citizens and goods.

The INTERNI DESIGNER'S WEEK initiative was created by INTERNI: 13 days of talks, conferences, debates and "onlife" events dedicated to new collections and product previews that will take place in showrooms and galleries in Milan and at company headquarters in Italy and abroad. In fact, the magazine directed by Gilda Bojardi rekindles the creative spirit of Milan, spreading and amplifying projects, opinions, stories, ideas and people through an articulated communication system that includes a paper and online guide of Designer's Week Milano, the online newspaper Interni Design Journal , a circuit of 8 DOOH led walls in the most strategic points of the city, and the INTERNI Meeting Point, set up in the headquarters of the Istituto Marangoni Milano Design School (via Cerva 24).
