Cersaie (Bologna – Quartiere Fieristico – 23/27 September 2019) changes its image. Because the world gravitating around architecture and design has been transformed, along with the fair of ceramics, surfaces and bath furnishings

Cersaie becomes Open Cersaie: a new fair idea based on contamination and openness to new worlds of reference. This is the idea behind the creation of a pictogram and a new logo that will give Cersaie a brand architecture that is more complete and institutional, ‘open’ to the challenges of an increasingly competitive world.

An image that takes a systematic approach to the initiatives of Cersaie for various targets: the program of architectural encounters Costruire Abitare Pensare (guests include: the Argentine architect Emilio Ambasz, the studio Jakob+MacFarlane, the Chilean architect Felipe Assadi), the mission of foreign designers of Cersaie Business, the design and lifestyle talks of the Café della Stampa, the practical and theoretical demonstrations of Città della Posa (where, at Pavilion 31A, the protagonists are large slabs), the thematic exhibitions that interpret Italian Style, the encounters with consumers for the revitalization of the spaces of Cersaie Disegna la tua Casa (at the Agorà dei Media in the Service Center).

Another new development is Archincont(r)act, the theme area of the mall in Pavilion 29, to put architecture into contact with Italian and international contract projects. The website www.cersaie.it also gets an update, with more space for videos and social profiles.

Cersaie shifts from a place of ‘exhibiting’ to one of ‘relational exhibition’: to offline world combines with the online in a total way, and communication becomes ‘conversation.’

The social networks play a new, crucial role in the communication strategy, as virtual spaces in which Cersaie discovers a strong identity and opens its doors to exhibitors, visitors, influencers and the city.

Bologna is the perfect place for this openness, because it is informal, friendly, ready for new things. Thanks to Bologna Design Week with its hidden courtyards, or the chance to sample famous cuisine and wines in the nearby hills, while still working on complex business relations.

Cersaie is ready for the future and Bologna has the past and present to help in this leap of quality. To experience in September.
