A voyage in the art and design of the 20th century, through two important signatures of the Italian cultural and artistic panorama: Gio Ponti and Amedeo Modigliani. This is the idea behind the event “Amedeo Modigliani and Gio Ponti. Signs compared”, produced by Richard Ginori 1735 – an example of excellence in Italy and the world of artistic porcelain – with the support of the Modigliani Institut Archives Légales Paris-Rome, the institution that conserves the archives of the great artist from Livorno. The exhibition – in the historic Richard Ginori shop in Florence, at Via dei Rondinelli 17/R – offers an unusual parallel reading of the artistic talent of these two great masters who made an indelible mark on the history of art and design, bringing out certain stylistic affinities.
