Stories of Milanese buildings from the 20th century, on view at Villa Necchi Campiglio

Villa Necchi Campiglio, Via Mozart 14, Milan

From 26 October 2018 to 6 January 2019

For Milanese residential architecture the period from the end of World War I to the start of the 1970s was one of intense experimentation to insert houses in the new context of the modern city.

This fertile 50-year time span and the architects who made Milan into an open-air museum of the 20th century are the focus of the exhibition organized by FAI – Fondo Ambiente Italiano titled Case Milanesi 1923-1973, hosted in the spaces of Villa Necchi Campiglio, an Art Deco icon from the 1930s in the heart of the city.
