This year marks the 50th edition of Italy’s oldest antiques fair. The exhibition itinerary will be organized in the rooms of Palazzo Vagnotti, where visitors can view and purchase furniture from different eras and origins, precious silver, furnishing complements, paintings, carpets, jewelry and many other objects of refined quality. The program includes many collateral events and appointments that involve the historical center of the city and its symbolic places. First of all the coordinated exhibition Cortonantiquaria 1963-2012, entirely devoted to 1963, the year in which Cortona first hosted what was then known as the Mostra Mercato Nazionale del Mobile Antico: an intriguing voyage through the main facts, protagonists, works and lifestyle phenomena of that special year. www.cortonantiquaria.it.
