Per il Fuorisalone 2018 Andrea Castrignano porta sul rooftop di un edificio signorile comfort, home-tecnology e cura sartoriale per l’interior project

For the FuoriSalone 2018, Andrea Castrignano brings comfort, home technology and tailor-made care to the rooftop of an elegant building

Roof View 4.0 is a penthouse where design, fine materials, home automation technology and ecosustainability coexist in a mixture with a metropolitan tone. Once again this year the headquarters of Studio Castrignano at Via Adige 11 in Milan, in the new Romana Design District, hosts the FuoriSalone project of the interior designer from 17 to 20 April 2018.

The protagonist of the installation is a structure with squared forms (a tribute to the architecture of Frank Lloyd Wright) surrounded by an urban jungle of buildings created with a special wallpaper. The “penthouse” effect is boosted by a voyeuristic touch: through the windows of the surrounding houses, visitors can glimpse some of the studio’s most important projects.

The Cor-ten effect finish of the building (ecosustainable thanks to the thermal coating for energy savings) also extends to the paving in porcelain stoneware of the large outdoor zone.
