Nike celebrates the game of football

During Milan Design Week, Nike celebrated the game of football with Brothers of the World,  a series of activities – exhibitions, workshops and master classes – to narrate 40 years of innovation of the jerseys made by Nike Football, at Spazio Maiocchi and in the outdoor football pitch on Via Veglia.

The story of Nike Football is one of football shoes and playing fields, players and legends, finals and life-changing goals.

The story of a revolution of play through innovation, from the stadium to the street.

The jersey plays a leading role in this story: it is the most iconic symbol of the passion of every fan for the game, the team and its colors.

To celebrate the culture of football in Milan, Nike has worked with three local personalities of sport, music and street culture to create exclusive jerseys: the captain of FC Internazionale Mauro Icardi, the Milanese rapper Sfera Ebbasta and the partner Slam Jam.

All the jerseys are now available for purchase starting on 19 April at NikeLab ST18, Slam Jam, One Block Down and the new mobile-first platform Jersey Shop.

Part of the proceeds from sale of the jerseys will be donated to finance a historical playing field in Milan, in collaboration with No League Social Games, a non-profit organization that offers sports programs for young people in all the neighborhoods of the city.
