do ut do is the biennial event to raise funds for the Fondazione Hospice Seràgnoli Onlus, the private non-profit organization operating since 2002 in the field of assistance, training, research and education on palliative care. The benefit involves the worlds of art, cinema, design, fashion and music, and is promoted by the Association of Friends of Fondazione Hospice Seràgnoli, with the collaboration of the Peggy Guggenheim Collection of Venice, MAXXI Rome and MAMboMuseum of Modern Art of Bologna. The second edition focuses on design with worldwide celebrities including Emilio Ambasz, Odile Decq, Michele De Lucchi, Doriana & Massimiliano Fuksas, Massimo Iosa Ghini, Daniel Libeskind, Alessandro Mendini, Richard Meier, Mimmo Paladino, Claudio Silvestrin. The special patrons, after Yoko Ono who donated her Wish Tree in 2012, are Masbedo, the duo of video artists, who have made an original video entitled Look Beyond. The benefit project looks forward to three public events in 2014, offering unique chances to see the original works. Two exhibitions are planned, the first from 16 to 18 May at the MAXXI in Rome, the second in the fall at MAMbo di Bologna. The third appointment will be the true ceremony assigning the works, at MAST, the center of arts, experimentation and technology. www.hospiceseragnoli.itwww.doutdo.itwww.mast.org.
