In the exhibition at the former church of Sant’Ambrogio organized by the City of Cantù in close collaboration with the Association for the Museum of Cantù – Center of documentation for crafts and the industrial arts, Confartigianato Imprese Como, the Chamber of Commerce of Como and Cassa Rurale e Artigiana of Cantù, each of the furnishings has its own specificity: the name of the designer is always important, but so are the extremely qualified manufacturers or crafts workshops involved in the production. The show features objects made by local producers starting in the 1930s, and created by leading architects and designers like Giuseppe Terragni, Franco Albini, Carlo Enrico Rava, Gio Ponti, Ico Parisi , Paolo Buffa, Guglielmo Ulrich, Aldo Rossi, Ettore Sottsass, Afra e Tobia Scarpa, Bruno Munari, Pininfarina, Franco Purini.
