POLI.design, the consortium of the Milan Polytechnic, launches the third edition of the course in Design for Wellness&Spa with the support of AIPi, Associazione Italiana Progettisti d’Interni, and the collaboration of Federalberghi, Forum Piscine and QCTerme.

Focusing on the design of spa and wellness spaces in hotels and fitness clubs, the course brings together leading figures in this sector – hotel entrepreneurs, managers, designers and companies.

The course calls for lectures, exercises, visits to companies, showrooms, hotels, innovative spaces, gyms and venues in Milan; 160 hours of intense training, during which the participants can learn more about the complexity of this field.

The third edition of the course starts on 29 February 2016 and concludes on 25 March 2016, and requires attendance eight hours a day. Based on their available time, professional activities and familiarity with design software, the candidates can choose to attend the lectures and do the final project, or opt only for the theoretical lectures, for an overall time span of 80 hours; this choice must be communicated to the Ufficio Coordinamento Formazione at the time of registration.

For those interested in further study of the themes of design for wellness and hospitality, POLI.design offers the advanced training course in Design for Wellness & SPA together with the course in Ho.Re.Ca. Design, on the latest evolutions in progress in the world of design for hotels, restaurants and cafes, at a special tuition rate.

The launch of the course in Ho.Re.Ca. Design is slated for 22 February 2016: to take advantage of this offer, payment of fees must be done as soon as possible, to ensure a place in both courses.

Saturday 20 February at 11:00 Gianpietro Sacchi, director of the two courses, and Alberto Zanetta, coordinator, will be on hand at the 8th edition of the Forum Piscine, at the Bologna Fair, with a contribution on the theme of “The new way of designing, constructing and managing spas, between history and innovation”: they will also be available to provide information on the courses described above.
