Barber&Osgerby were the 14th guests of honor at the latest Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair (9-13 February), where they designed the entrance lounge, assigned at each edition to a different internationally acclaimed designer.

“In an open setting full of challenges, because of the visual clutter, we wanted to create a lounge area that was friendly and useful, with great visual power. We divided it into three zones: meeting, work and leisure,” they explained.

“Heavy screens in white felt divided the zones and paper lamps brought a soft touch, like snowflakes. The area was furnished with our recent projects for B&B, Knoll and Vitra. We love and are inspired by Scandinavian design because it is elegant and efficient, human and functional, without extravagance and never degenerates into ‘isms,’” they concluded.

An entirely white and wood lounge that reproduces their idea of Swedish winters.
