The American artists and identical twins Doug and Mike Starnare the protagonists of the sixth edition of one of the most prestigious international events on the contemporary art scene, curated by Francesco Bonami. A special edition of Enel Contemporanea for the 50th anniversary of Enel, opening to the public in the large spaces of Macro Testaccio with the gigantic installation Big Bambú, created specially for the city of Rome.  In the spaces of the museum, thousands of bamboo poles are tied and interlocked using a traditional method, to create an unusual structure-sculpture that can be entered by visitors along trails and paths for different sensations. The Starn brothers see these structures as living organisms, constantly changing. The work from the Big Bambú series will have a height of about 25 meters, using this solid yet flexible material of great symbolic impact. www.enelcontemporanea.com.
