Opening today at Montrasio Arte of the exhibition Trappolando, a tribute to the sculpture of Fausto Melotti (Rovereto 1901 – Milan 1986), with a particular focus on ceramic works, curated by Sara Fontana.

Some of the approximately 30 selected works, including sculptures, ceramics and bas reliefs, have never been shown before.

The title comes from a phrase spoken by Melotti after the wartime destruction of his studio in Milan: “I have not precisely resumed work, but I am trapping things. I have a bit of clay and I make heads as big as a fist. But I will get better organized.”
