The exhibition Francesco Somaini. Uno scultore per la città. New York 1967-1976, curated by Enrico Crispolti and Luisa Somaini, organized by Archivio Francesco Somaini in collaboration with Triennale di Milano, analyzes the theme of art and architecture in relation to the modern metropolis, through 16 sculptures, 15 drawings and 14 photomontages, nearly all from the Archives and Italian private collections.

This is a research project that attempts to get beyond previous positions on the “integration of the arts” developed by the artist starting in the 1960s, in the wake of the impact of the culture and architecture of New York.
