The International Center of Art and Culture of Palazzo Te in Mantua presents an exhibition in which the works of Giorgio Morandi establish a dialogue with those of Tacita Dean, one of the most important artists on the international contemporary scene.

The show includes two films, Day for Night and Still Life, which Tacita Dean made in 2009 in the painter’s studio in Bologna – reconstructed in actual size at the start of the exhibition itinerary at Palazzo Te – and a selection of about 50 works on loan from important museums and private collections, illustrating Morandi’s research on the still life in the period from 1915 to 1963.
