The IED (European Design Institute) of Rome offers 10 study grants for total coverage of tuition fees for three-year post-diploma programs in 2012/13 for the schools of Design, Visual Communication, Fashion and Management Lab. To win a grant, once again this year IED asks interested students to participate on-line at Uncreativoalgiorno.com, the site that presents the theme for this year’s competition: Reset: I change the world. The dream of every creative talent is to change the world, improving it in aesthetic, functional and/or ethical terms, or simply changing its image and representation. IED puts young talents to the test by asking them what they would do to change the world. There are four project inputs to be developed, starting with the central theme. Participants have to develop the theme in relation to the area of reference of the three-year program they wish to attend. Candidates should directly upload their concepts at the site, filling out the form that calls for a title and a few lines of explanation, http://uncreativoalgiorno.com. The projects and images will be selected and published at the site, where visitors can leave votes and comments. Participants can also share their work on Facebook, and see visitor feedback and comments. Eligibility: open to young Italians and foreigners residing in Italy, from 18 to 25 years of age. Works can be sent by e-mail to the special address, open until the end of the selection phase. Decisions are made by a jury composed of directors and faculty members of the schools of Design, Visual Communication, Fashion and Management Lab. http://uncreativoalgiorno.com/.
