The project comes from the need of five artists (Elena Carozzi, Beatrice Meoni, Phillippa Peckham, Maja Thommen and Silvia Vendramel), of different backgrounds, to share a creative path. An experience of dialogue and shared research, developed in two phases.
First, in their respective studios, the artists conduct their own research, shared in moments of reflection with the rest of the group; second, in the practice of the exhibition installation, involving taking preparatory materials or finished pieces directly to the exhibition site, an active dialogue develops between the various projects and the host space.
The aim is to offer new possibilities of intervention in which the mixing and matching of different languages allow greater opportunities for reflection, in keeping with the personal approach of each artist, while at the same time working on a joint project.
The exhibition center of Villa Pacchiani becomes the place to present a work in progress, which conserves the traces of a creative process, combining fragments of individual work in a spirit of sharing.
The encounters are organized as workshops of thinking and doing, open to small groups of 4 to 8 children at a time, from 8 to 12 years of age, taking place in the month from mid-June to mid-July, working with the spaces of the Villa, with different materials, to share the space together with the artists, working on the principles of trust and collective composition.
