The cycle of encounters organized by Stone italiana begins with an exceptional guest: Massimo Banzi, an expert on interactive design and creator of the Arduino project, the first example of success in the field of open-source hardware. At “Leggero come una Pietra” he will conduct a workshop entitled “Are we all designers?” The participants can invent an interactive lamp together, starting with a basic structure, LEDs and a range of sensors of different types, chosen based on discussion with the audience. A demonstration of how, thanks to the Arduino platform and the TinkerKit modules, it has become incredibly quick and easy to develop objects that interact with persons and the surrounding environment. The encounters are free of charge but with limited seating, at the Milan showroom of Stone Italiana (via degli Arcimboldi 5 – angolo via Lupetta). http://www.leggerocomeunapietra.it.
