In the context of Budapest Design Week,the Triennale Design Museum, in collaboration with the Italian Embassy in Budapest and ICE Budapest, presents for the first time in Hungary, at the Museum of Applied Arts of Budapest, the traveling exhibition Maestri, a selection of emblematic objects by some of the msot important figures of Italian design, curated by Silvana Annicchiarico, director of the Triennale Design Museum, with exhibit design by Ar.Ch.ItArchitetti Associati. From Bruno Munari to Ettore Sottsass, Achille Castiglioni to Gaetano Pesce, the exhibition reviews the richness and force of Italian design, focusing on the creativity of designers who have reinvented typologies, introduced new materials, experimented with unusual technologies, and developed new relationships between form and function, always to make the world a bit more comfortable, and to bring beauty into everyday life.
