Iran and Italy, age-old traditions and contemporary languages blend in the thrill of a journey through jewelry, time and space at the Museo del Bijou di Casalmaggiore.

Splendid Persia, visions in jewelry presents, for the first time in Italy, an exclusive selection of jewels belonging to the history of Persia, items of magical charm that have influenced contemporary research in Iran, as well as Italian costume jewelry from the 1960s to the present.

The exhibition itinerary winds through a precious selection of antique jewelry and pearls from the region of ancient Mesopotamia, revealing the roots of a culture with its symbols and materials.

The show also includes conceptual jewelry by a group of talented young students in the Jewelry Design course at Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera in Milan, as well as a series of images taken in Iran by the photographer Federico Wilhelm, to analyze the natural, artistic and social landscape of contemporary Iran.
