Studio A-cero has created an interior design project on the upper levels of the Torre de Cristal in Madrid, designed by Cesar Pelli. The 50th floor has been conceived as a multipurpose space serving all the offices of the 52-storey tower. The offices have an internal area of 690 sq meters, subdivided into different spaces: the corridor, the meeting room, the adminstrative secretarial space, the managerial office, a multipurpose room, a wardrobe, an office and an external terrace of 147 sq meters. Among the various pieces, the conference table stands out – 14 meters in length – not only for its size but also for its design, and for the fact that it contains systems to automatically raise screens that emerge from under the table. Thanks to Hi-Macs®, which permits the connection of pieces without visible joints, the table seems to be made with a single component. Hi-MAacs® has also be used for the furnishings and the floor.
