The celebrations for the 40th anniversary of IAAD – The Italian University for Design took place today at the Nuvola Lavazza in Turin.
The event included the announcement of the 6 deans of the departments and the launch of a new department of innovation design.
The prestigious names:
Giorgetto Giugiaro – dean of the Department of Transportation Design (appointed in January 2016)
Stefano Giovannoni – dean of the Department of Product Design
Aldo Cibic – dean of the Department of Interior Design
Romeo Gigli – dean of the Department of Textile & Fashion Design
Emanuele Saffirio – dean of the Department of Communication Design
Geoff Mulgan – dean of the new Department of Innovation Design
IAAD was founded in 1978 in Turin and now has two locations in Italy, in Turin and Bologna.
