De Padova and More, together during Design Week, discussed the home of the future - [gallery ids="15475,15476,15477,15478"]“Chatting about the habitat” was a conversation in which the invited guests – Oliviero Toscani, Kean Etro, Alex Majoli and Andrea Incontri, with moderator Marella Caracciolo Chia – narrated their idea of home, starting with the home of the past, the home of memory and roots, and arriving at the home of the future. More and De Padova met and recognized a shared vision, in the work of study and research involved in the design and development of objects and homes that can be lived in, experienced, utilized, loved, shared with family and friends, over time and on a day-to-day basis. More, guided by Valentina Moretti, is a company founded in 2012 as a dedicated division of Moretti Industria delle Costruzioni, which has operated for over 50 years in the construction industry, create custom prefabricated homes with an innovative architectural design system. De Padova has a long, prestigious history of interior furnishings, connected to the biggest names in Italian design. More and De Padova organized this “habitat chat” by asking their friends about their ideas of the home, between past, present, future and convivial living. Here are some quotes from the chat. Oliviero Toscani (photographer): “I recommend that you go and live in the place where you would want to go on vacation.”
 Kean Etro (fashion designer):
“The home is a continuum. With nature, animals, the elements that go into its composition. Recovered rainwater, materials that blend with a way of life.”
Alex Majoli (photographer, president of Magnum Photos): “Home is where my children area. My space of affection. Home means only this.” Andrea Incontri (fashion designer): “The house never stays still, because it is made of powerful but temporary feelings. This is why the house itself should be simple.”
Valentina Moretti (architect, head of the MORE team): “My home of the future is a solid, ecological, honest, sincere, open house, possibly in the woods. With MORE we rigorously adapt to quality living. We have developed a system that focuses on solidity. For the home, forever. The prefabricated house is solid, but without overlooking the interest, especially on an international level, in a ‘light’ house, which is why we work with and study different types of materials: from concrete to wood.”
