“Chatting about the habitat” was a conversation in which the invited guests – Oliviero Toscani, Kean Etro, Alex Majoli and Andrea Incontri, with moderator Marella Caracciolo Chia – narrated their idea of home, starting with the home of the past, the home of memory and roots, and arriving at the home of the future. More and De Padova met and recognized a shared vision, in the work of study and research involved in the design and development of objects and homes that can be lived in, experienced, utilized, loved, shared with family and friends, over time and on a day-to-day basis. De Padova has a long, prestigious history of interior furnishings, connected to the biggest names in Italian design. Home means only this.” Andrea Incontri (fashion designer): “The house never stays still, because it is made of powerful but temporary feelings. This is why the house itself should be simple.” Valentina Moretti (architect, head of the MORE team): “My home of the future is a solid, ecological, honest, sincere, open house, possibly in the woods. With MORE we rigorously adapt to quality living. We have developed a system that focuses on solidity. For the home, forever. The prefabricated house is solid, but without overlooking the interest, especially on an international level, in a ‘light’ house, which is why we work with and study different types of materials: from concrete to wood.”
