Gruppo Ermenegildo Zegna has completed an agreement for control of the textile manufacturer based in Molvena (Vicenza).
The pact signed by Gildo Zegna and Giovanni Bonotto calls for the continuing involvement of the Bonotto family, which keeps 40% of the shares and still handles the creative direction and management.
Gruppo Zegna will also hold 33% of the company BonottoEditions.
Bonotto and BonottoEditions, which have a showroom on Via Durini in Milan, stand out for a creative and experimental approach to fabrics.
Fondazione Luigi Bonotto holds one of the world’s most important collections of works by the Fluxus movement, with almost 20,000 items in the archives.
