Platek lights up the Alàbriga Hotel & Home Suites on Costa Brava
From the most technical to the most decorative lines of products, the offerings of Platek fit perfectly into architectural and interior design initiatives. In both indoor and outdoor spaces, the protagonists at the Alàbriga Hotel & Home Suites are the Mesh, Flamingo, Chiodo, One, Pico and Nano lines by Platek.
Alàbriga Hotel & Home Suites is a facility built over the foundations of a historic structure of the same name, a unique architectural project inspired by the hull of a yacht anchored in the bays of Sant Feliu de Guíxols. The complex has been designed by the architect Aryanour Djalali.
The technical lighting design had to adapt not only to the architectural structure, but also to the particular dialogue the hotel establishes with the landscape. Platek has created a whispering light that delicately underscores the architectural volumes and creates relaxing corners in discreet dialogue with the other leading features of the interior design.
The project involves supply of the lines Mesh by Marco Acerbis (appliques in the outdoor cafe, and Mesh table models with batteries), Flamingo by Sara Moroni (upright, post and extension models, for both indoor and outdoor spaces), the One appliques, the Nano and Pico built-in spotlights, and the Chiodo post lamps by Danesi & Buzzoni.
