New light for Cappella degli Scrovegni

iGuzzini has unveiled a new lighting system at Cappella degli Scrovegni in Padua, to improve perception of the frescos and facility management.

The new IoT lighting system makes an operation of “perceptive restoration” possible, thanks to the combination of LED fixtures, environmental sensors and software applications with Internet protocol.

In the first phase the sensors, designed specifically for this project, measure variations of natural light; the information gathered makes it possible to activate, in the second phase, with a specific advanced algorithm, a dynamic system of intelligent light to adapt the artificial lighting to changing environmental conditions, with advantages for perception, conservation and energy savings.
